The results of two Illinois Attorney General INVESTIGATIONS (wow – there’s that word again that we have been accused of defaming people with). This is but two of the many complaints files with the Illinois Attorney General within the past 8 months. Some for Open Meetings Act violations and others for Freedom of Information Act violations. The following are the written letters from the Illinois Attorney General verifying what we knew all along – that the Edgar County ETS had violated state law in reference to the Open Meetings Act.
The question still remains: How can someone that took the Open Meetings Act training provided by the Attorney General claim ignorance when it comes to the most basic requirements of the act?
