We covered the Assumption Alderman and Fire Protection District Fire Chief Herbert Palmer and his wife, Angela Palmer’s, arrest last month in this article.

After that publication, along with this follow-up article, local social media posts rushed to defend these officials.

We requested the police video footage from the evening in question; other than one comment we have to share, the videos tell, as Paul Harvey used to say, the rest of the story.
