Shelby Co., Ill. (ECWd) –
Shelby County Board Vice-Chairman Teresa Boehm’s next hearing in her criminal felony case, number 2023CF149, was reset to December 23, 2024, at 11:30 a.m.
According to the Shelby County Court Docket as found on Judici, this was after an Amended Motion to Dismiss was filed along with a motion to extend time to file a response filed by the prosecutor.
****
Boehm was indicted on January 25, 2024, by a Shelby County Grand Jury on two felony counts; Violation of the Public Officer Prohibited Activities Act and Unlawful Participation (see page 10 of the Indictment) – both charges stem from holding statutorily conflicting offices. There have been two motions to dismiss filed by Boehm’s attorney, which have not been heard yet. This case is still working its way through the court system.
