Shelby Co., Ill. (ECWd) –
The Shelby County Farm Committee will hold a meeting on September 11, 2023, in Courtroom “A” at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of considering and voting to place a Resolution to sell the county farm in front of the full county board.
The agenda has been updated to include “Discussion and vote to approve Resolution to Sell the County Farm.”
Apparently, both of the previous agendas were too vague and did not adequately inform the public of the action(s) to be taken.
See the PROPOSED RESOLUTION. – we are assuming at this point that the Resolution has not changed.

Posted at 23:23h, 10 SeptemberWoot, woot.
Item 4 on the agenda…posted to the county website…for the first time ever…is a fact about the county farm being resolved. The discussion is public, not some backroom deal between so and so, and so and so, as has been continuously alleged by a few ever since the cows left home, 2020. The custom farming solution is an innovative land use practice which appeared to be gainful for all parties involved.
Now comes the dead,

Posted at 19:47h, 10 SeptemberI recently reviewed a missive posted on the Shelby County First facebook page concerning my written opinion from 2021 concerning the Treasurer’s concern about the likelihood of being charged official misconduct given the prior State’s Attorney and the present issues concerning the county farm. After reviewing the page and the crack ace cub reporter’s comments, it is clear that anyone who spent the time to read the missive is now dumber for having read it. Mr Niner has a sophomoric approach to disconnected issues unrelated in substance. We should all be grateful he (if that is his/her chosen pronoun) never went to law school and does not possess a law degree. Im thankful that such stupidity was reduced to writing.
