PARIS, IL (ECWd) –
The July- August 2013 edition of Disclosure News Magazine has arrived and is available in the usual places:
Gas station in Kansas – Y-Not Shop in Vermillion – Grocery Store in Oakland – and at my office/studio. We are actively searching for a place with normal business hours that is willing to sell the Disclosure in Paris.
Quick Sale!
This morning while driving through town, I was motioned over into a restaurant parking lot by someone that wanted to buy a copy of Disclosure. While there, I ended up selling out of the 50 copies that were originally delivered to me. It was unexpected, and I hope it continues – so if you see me driving around town, just give me a honk and chances are I have copies with me. I got another shipment in this afternoon…
General Conversations – Both Sides Of Issues
One thing I noticed today, was that people were sincerely interested in discussing current and past events, even if they disagreed with each other’s point of view. There were people that were excited to see another Redi-Mix plant in town and those that thought they should go back where they came from. Other conversations include those that support the current Sheriff, and those that hope he is voted out next year. Some are glad the City of Paris passed the Refuse Hauling resolution, but most are pissed off they passed it – thinking it should be left up to the customer, not the city officials.
The nature and tone of the various conversations were lively and sometimes slightly heated – but never threatening. Basically an enjoyable experience.
Common Ground Found
The issue that everyone agreed with, was that the intimidation and threats issued by “prominent” Parisians (I prefer to call them “Parasites” because that is simply what they are – feeding at the expense of the good citizens of Paris) is completely out of line. Most of them refereed to it as the “banning” of the paper from town, and they are all extremely upset that these “prominent” people took it upon themselves to determine what other people could and could not buy and read. In other words, they censored what the citizens of Paris could and could not read.
I put a new quote at the top-left hand corner of our website that speaks of censorship:
“Censorship is never over for those who have experienced it. It is a brand on the imagination that affects the individual who has suffered it, forever.” – Nadine Gordimer
The people doing this censoring and intimidation are business owners, have positions in public service, and even have prominent positions in certain financial institutions – but they think they can control what you are to read, and what a private business is allowed to sell.
You have to ask if these parasites are proud of their censorship. I’m sure they boast amongst themselves, but in the end, are they proud of censoring a publication simply because they happen to be in it? Can they still look those people, businesses, and their customers that they threatened and intimidated – can they look them in the eye without wondering what is going through their minds?
What is it that these people are so afraid of? What don’t they want you to read about? I don’t think we have found that answer yet, but we are getting closer every day.
Do they think the pendulum only swings one way? I say that pendulum swings both ways – and we are adding a sledge hammer to our end of it, so they will not soon forget when that thing swings back and smacks them in the face. We know who they are, and they know that we know – we will leave it at that for now.
I personally have a hard time accepting the fact that after well over 20 years of service to this country; sometimes in places with extreme poverty, extreme tyranny, and extreme censorship (words cannot describe these places appropriately); I cannot accept the fact that this can happen in this country and has happened in Paris and Edgar County. It is shameful, and people should be outraged.

Posted at 22:34h, 25 JulyIf I had a business I would be glad to sell the paper, sadly I do not. What a bummer. But love reading the paper and seeing that there are other counties going the similar bouts of BS as we are. I think the I’LL Bureau of Investegation needs to get involved with checking the goings on in many of these counties including Edgar. There needs to be state and maybe federal level investigations on some of the public officials who are running our counties. What’s it going to take to stop this. We also we need to stop the railroading of Terry Payton by Isaf in order to further his career. Judge Garst, I’ve known you for years and cannot believe you have such little regard for Dr. Frey’s testimony. Shame on you, you’re not person I’ve always thought you were. You are feeding Isaf’s greed. Don’t let him ruin a young life. There are those that feel abuse of one person by another should be taken care of by police, if not then the abuser deserves anything he or she gets. Hang in there Terry, chin up.
