State Rep Darren Bailey wins Temporary Restraining Order against Governor Pritzker’s stay at home Executive Order

Darren Bailey had his Temporary Restraining Order Hearing against Governor Pritzker today in Clay County by the Honorable Michael McHaney.

The TRO was granted, and copy can be downloaded at this link or viewed below.

As can be read in the TRO, this decision only applies to Mr. Darren Bailey.

    And folks, what you just saw in that 35 second middle video, was real grass roots. Decent, law abiding American citizens of Illinois peacefully behaving themselves and supporting their Illinois State Representative AND THE RULE OF LAW, NOT OF MEN.

    Possible Solution for the Illinois Attorney General and Illinois Governor :

    April 27, 2020 Decision from US Supreme Court in the matter of New York Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. City of New York, New York

    “In the District Court, petitioners challenged a New York Rule….Petitioners sought declaratory and injunctive relief against enforcement of the rule….We granted certiorari. After we granted certiorari, the State of New York amended its ….statute, and the City amended its rule…..Petitioners’ claim for declaratory and injunctive relief with respect to the City’s old rule is therefore moot.”

    Today’s order from the US Supreme Court in the New York case is highly instructive–so when can we expect the Illinois General Assembly to reconvene?
