Sullivan, IL, (ECWd) –
Timothy Singer, Chairman of the Moultrie County Democrat Party was arrested, charged, and booked (case info here) with driving under the influence (“DUI”) on November 3, 2019 at 1:34 a.m. in Moultrie County (charge sheet below or click here).
Singer was also issued an improper lane usage ticket.
The arresting Deputy was Jessee Scribner.
Singer appeared in Court on Nov 8 to Waive Arraignment and demand a Jury Trial.
On November 12, 2019, Attorney Guy S.R. Casey entered an appearance on behalf of Singer with a Not Guilty Plea and Demand for Jury Trial on file.
Trial date is set for Feb 3. 2020, with a pre-trial date of Jan 14, 2020.
