Judge Increases Accused Girls AAU Basketball Coach Barry Wolfe’s Bond to $5.5 Million

COLES CO., IL. (ECWd) –

The AAU girls basketball coach, who was arrested and charged last week on accusations of sexual assault and abuse of a minor, has had his Bond increased by $5,000,000 today.

Coles County State’s Attorney filed a Motion to increase Bond, and file additional Counts against Barry Wolfe.

There are now 13 Counts filed against him in Coles County. There are a mixture of Class 1 and Class 2 Felony charges, all relating to sexual contact with a minor.

WTHI-TV is reporting that a Coles County Judge has added an additional $5 million to his Bond. This after the additional charges were filed. His Bond was previously set at $500,000. It is now $5.5 million.

10% will apply, and prior to release he must submit to screening for the Pretrial Services Program and have no contact with anyone under the age of 18 years old.
