Illinois (ECWd) –
Two separate audit reports this week have found problems to include possible fraud and embezzlement.
In Edgar County, of all places – LOL, the Clark Edgar Rural Water District audit report was provided to the board Monday night and questions of fraud were raised by board members. The auditor providing the report suggested they have the matter further pursued, which would be through police investigations for criminal activity. We know of an illegal vehicle purchase by past employees and use of the vehicle for personal use and will keep you updated when we get more information as it appears there is financial fraud. It should be noted that the new Manager removed the past bookkeeper a few months ago.
In Iroquois County, the City of Gilman received their audit report and it was reported to us that they have identified embezzlement in excess of $50K. We have filed a Freedom of Information Act request for that report and will update when we get more information. In the event they have in fact confirmed embezzlement, we suspect nothing would happen in Iroquois County as the current State’s Attorney has yet to prosecute massive public corruption we have exposed for years, to include Grant Fraud, confirmed as Grant Fraud by the State’s Attorney himself.
The fact we are seeing more fraud by public officials is an example of what happens when the message of no prosecutions for such actions is sent to the public through years of ignoring the problem.

Posted at 15:37h, 23 AugustBecause the answers to the questions of “why” are never answered, the public assumes the State’s Atty is getting money-why else not do the job? Of course laziness is always possible, but either way, OUT DAMNED POC state’s atty.! I think it’s $$ cuz the SA knows nothing will happen to him, either. Until the mob storms the palace.
