Edgar Co., IL. (ECWd) –
The Edgar County Board voted to appoint Derrick Lorenzen to fill the vacant county board seat after the resignation of Ben Jenness.
The board also voted to elect Jeff Voigt as the County Board Chairman.
In other actions, the board lowered the speed limit of “High School Road” (west of the railroad tracks) to 45 mph, also stating that if the school board asked for a School Zone speed limit the board would approve and install the signage.
