Oswego, Ill. (ECWd) –
Since we have filed a FOIA lawsuit against the Village of Oswego and Village of Bolingbrook for their failure to comply with the Freedom of Information Act, Oswego responded with additional public records, but failed to provide any bodycam videos.
What they recently provided:
- dashcam videos (below)
- police reports with fewer redactions
We requested the records after learning of an alleged road rage incident by off duty Bolingbrook Police Officer Sal Davi, where he admitted to brandishing a firearm during the incident.
It had also been alleged that Bolingbrook Officer Sal Davi used racial slurs (see page 4 of the police report) which would have been recorded on Oswego PD bodycams.
