Judge Sullivan was arrested for alleged DUI as covered in this article.
According to the court docket, he was scheduled to have a hearing on September 30, 2025. We went to the courthouse only to find he had been EXCUSED from the hearing docket posted outside the courtroom. There was no entry on Judici.com excusing him, nor is there any updated information as to when he is going to appear.
The docket does confirm the following:
“Confirmation of Statutory Summary Suspension filed. Letter from Supreme Court Assignment of Out-of-Circuit Judge filed Letter from Judge Morgan filed Administrative Order No. 2025-32 filed. Copy of documents forwarded to SA Danley and Atty Britton”
We find it very strange that there is no entry indicating when a hearing is going to take place.
We will continue to investigate this matter and provide updates when we obtain them.

For those of you that defend and support this judge, you must understand something. At any time, this judge could simply admit the truth and explain the issues brought to light by the Edgar County Watchdogs, I, E, EXCUSED from the hearing docket. He could even do that here.
The appearance of special handling: without a full explanation, and with the disclosure of a similar event which was handled quite differently draws suspicion. Suspicion, not only of the entire judicial process but of the prosecutors and government officials handling this case. So, we’re now awaiting the excuse from those excusing….
This amazes me! I was arrested on the exact same charges in Edgar County. Where Sullivan is a judge. This has been several years ago, but I was arrested on a DUI and no insurance! Mind you I was never pulled over I was taken from inside of a restaurant where I had been for almost 30mins before law enforcement showed up. When they the officers said I needed to take a breathalyzer test I refused the test because I was not in the vehicle nor driving when they came to make the arrest. Now this was in 2016 and I still have no license to this day. Now first thing when u refuse a breathalyzer test during a DUI THAT IS AN AUTOMATIC 6month suspension of ur driver license no matter what! So reguardless of everything else I’m thinking if this man gets off with a slap on the wrist then why in the hell is any of the punishment I received for the exact same shit ok? Just because your a fucking judge doesn’t make you any better then any one of the civilians that u enforce punishment on each and everyday on that stand. But, yet you look down on us like where nothing and we disgust you. WHATS DISTURBING IS THIS IS THE TYPE OF PEOPLE THAT WE HAVE DETERMING OUR FREEDOM WHEN WE MAKE MISTAKES WHEN THERE MAKING THE EXACR SAME MISTAKES THAT WE ARE IR HAVE!!!!!
Sigh… another instance of hiding this… no entry? And no reschedule date? More hiding, hoping people forget about it…
