In Debt? Use The Oakland FPD Credit Card!

Coles Co. (ECWd) –

As we continue to go through records tied to the conviction of Kyley Willison and criminally indicted father Jerry Willison, we once again are amazed.

During the initial criminal investigation interview, Kyley admitted his use of the credit card was for “everyday living expenses”. The initial interview was supposed to be his “coming clean” day.

From the LandOLakes email obtained by the Investigator:

“As requested here is a quick synopsis on our finding. The $5,000 was ran through our BillTrust credit cards, and it was to pay on bad debt on invoices that went back to July of 2018. This was the last payment that we show. He was an actual customer under the name Willison Enterprises DBA Norton Knolls (8705078). The address that we have listed is 512 N Reel St. Oakland, IL 61943. I can pull those invoices that go back to 2018 for your reference if you would like.” (emphasis added)

“…he was paying back on invoices that we’re in collections.”

“So not including the 5k he gave us with the credit card and no finance charges it would be a little over $14k. With the $5k payment and no finance charges its around $9k. With finance charges, he owed us around $17k.”

The communications also outline that a lot of the debt was written off by the company, presumably for the Golf Course’s inability to make such payments.  The actual transaction information indicates it was, in fact, the credit card belonging to the Oakland Fire Protection District.

We can only wonder how a debt owed by Willisons’ golf course to LandoLakes Inc. constitutes an “everyday living expense“.
