Dolton, Ill. (ECWd) –
After the April 1, 2025, election, the Village of Dolton, Illinois will have a new Mayor along with a new majority of trustees aligned with the new Mayor.
Hopefully, Tiffany Henyard will never disgrace the halls of Dolton again.
We suggest one of the first items to tackle should be a comprehensive forensic audit of all village finances for the past four years. The public has a right to know how every penny of their money was spent.
Additionally, they should put all finances online for the public to see what this new administration is doing.
2025 Election winners: Jason House (Mayor), Alison Key (returning Clerk), Brittany Norwood (returning Trustee), Edward Steave (returning Trustee after losing seat in 2023), Kiana Belcher (returning Trustee).
