Madison County Electoral Board To Meet December 14th To Hear Petition Objections –

On December 13, 2023

Madison Co., Ill. (ECWd) –

The Madison County Electoral Board will convene on December 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Madison County Courthouse to hear the following objections to nominating petitions:

  • Objection to Dwight Kay‘s petitions for County Board member
  • Objection to Doug Hulme‘s petitions for Precinct Committeeman
  • Objection to Nick Cohan‘s petitions for Precinct Committeeman
  • Objection to Linda Wolfe‘s petitions for County Board member

    The Madison County Election Board overruled all Objections with the exception of Douglas Hulme.. Not one Objector attended the meeting to be cross examined. Maybe more interesting was who did attend the 2.5 hour hearing………………..the Madison County Treasurer, Chris Slusser and Sheriff., Jeff Connor .. These fellas burned taxpayer dollars observing a hearing that should have been absolutely no interest to them. Welcome to Madison County government.
