“Commissioner” Denise Williams’ false statements about the VAC website –

Will County Veterans Assistance Commission (ECWd) –

Once again, Denise Williams, alleged Veterans Assistance Commission (“VAC”) Commissioner and Director of the American Gold Star Mothers – Department of Illinois, has been found to have made more false statements in her prepared speech during the September 6, 2022, VAC meeting.

Denise Williams stated (see video below): “The VAC website is confusing, unclear, and full of mistakes and inaccurate information”

A FOIA response from the VAC for my request for a copy of everything that is “confusing, unclear, mistakes, and inaccurate information on the VAC website” resulted in a “no records responsive to your request” – meaning there are no confusing, unclear, mistakes, or inaccurate information on the VAC website.

Not only is Denise WIlliams not eligible to sit on the VAC board, and the Gold Star Mothers ineligible to appoint delegates or alternates to a VAC board, she leveled untrue statements about many of the departments within Will County government and made what appears to be false claims impugning the VAC website itself.

Enough is enough, she simply needs to read the Military Veterans Assistance Act and never show up to another VAC meeting as an alleged board member. No need to resign, as she is not and has never been a legitimate member as a delegate from the Gold Star Mothers, who cannot appoint delegates.
