Fire at Christensen Farms –

Kansas, IL. (ECWd) –

Update 7-11-2022: Caused by lightning strike, some damage to one building, no injuries and no loss of livestock.

This morning, scanners reported a call for all available fire departments to respond to a fire at Christinsen Farms, located a few miles south-east of Kansas, Illinois, in rural Edgar County.

Workers were gathered at the main office, and the entry road was blocked when I arrived, with a worker declining to answer any questions.

Cause of the fire and any damage or injuries has not been revealed at this time.
