ECWd v. Will Co. Sheriff: Oral Arguments in Appellate Court Today –

Will CO., IL. (ECWd) –

Oral arguments were heard in Freedom of Information Act lawsuit appealed to the Appellate Court by Will County Sheriff. The case is Edgar County Watchdogs, Inc., v. Will County Sheriff’s Office.

Last January the Will County Circuit Court ordered the Sheriff’s Office to produce the audio of certain 911 records or provide a transcript of those recordings. The Will County Sheriff’s Office appealed that decision.
