Bill Would Permit Firing, Excluding People Noncompliant With COVID Shots/Testing –

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On October 25, 2021

SPRINGFIELD, IL. (ECWd) –

Get caught doing things not permitted under the law?

Don’t let that stop you . . . change the damn thing and hope nobody notices . . . but only change it for the topic of the day and nothing else.

This amendment will permit you to have the right to a conscience about every medical procedure under the sun, except for COVID shots and tests.

The Center Square has a good article on this Amendment (here).

Today, House Amendment 2, to Senate Bill 1169 was filed today by State Representative Robyn Gabel.

From the Amendment:

Section 5. The Health Care Right of Conscience Act is amended by adding Section 13.5 as follows:

Sec. 13.5. Violations related to COVID-19 requirements. It is not a violation of this Act for any person or public official, or for any public or private association, agency, corporation, entity, institution, or employer, to take any measures or impose any requirements, including, but not limited to, any measures or requirements that involve provision of services by a physician or health care personnel, intended to prevent contraction or transmission of COVID-19 or any pathogens that result in COVID-19 or any of its subsequent iterations. It is not a violation of this Act to enforce such measures or requirements, including by terminating employment or excluding individuals from a school, a place of employment, or public or private premises in response to noncompliance.

This Section is a declaration of existing law and shall not be construed as a new enactment. Accordingly, this Section shall apply to all actions commenced or pending on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly. Nothing in this Section is intended to affect any right or remedy under federal law.

Why don’t they follow the science and recognize natural immunity. I see nothing in this amendment about that. It’s not about health, it’s only about ultimate power

100% correct!!! It’s nothing but a power grab and using COVID to do so – just like they are doing for EVERYTHING today!!

The lagging Chicagoland Representative Roybin seeks to tail wag the state and the general public. It’s an “Are you smarter than a 5th grader” amendment that makes me seriously wonder if Rep Roybin is among the unconscionable statehouse reps that cut in front of the elderly earlier this year.

The language “subsequent iterations” flies an abuse of discretion in the house.

It is a violation of the Illinois state constitution’s Bill of Rights. My body, my choice you Nazi Brown shirts.

SECTION 1. INHERENT AND INALIENABLE RIGHTS
All men are by nature free and independent and have
certain inherent and inalienable rights among which are life,
liberty and the pursuit of happiness. To secure these rights
and the protection of property, governments are instituted
among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the
    governed.
    (Source: Illinois Constitution.)

SECTION 2. DUE PROCESS AND EQUAL PROTECTION
No person shall be deprived of life, liberty or property
without due process of law nor be denied the equal protection
    of the laws.
    (Source: Illinois Constitution.)

    SECTION 3. RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession
and worship, WITHOUT discrimination, shall forever be
guaranteed, and no person shall be denied any civil or
political right, privilege or capacity, on account of his
religious opinions; but the liberty of conscience hereby
secured shall not be construed to dispense with oaths or
affirmations, excuse acts of licentiousness, or justify
practices inconsistent with the peace or safety of the State.
No person shall be required to attend or support any ministry
or place of worship against his consent, nor shall any
preference be given by law to any religious denomination or
    mode of worship.
    (Source: Illinois Constitution.)

    SECTION 24. RIGHTS RETAINED
The enumeration in this Constitution of certain rights
shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained
by the individual citizens of the State.
(Source: Illinois Constitution.) We have the right to NOT have the oppressive, power abusing Illinois state govt act as our personal doctor. Everyone knows the democrap controlled Illinois state govt is crooked as a barrel of snakes

Just like the tyrannical Illinois democrats to try and punish us for using our constitutionally protected God given rights and liberty. Robyn, the Illinois state Bill of Rights protects our rights from the dictatorial Illinois govt, that means you!

Thank you, my spouse and I completed a witness slip opposing this. Also, contacted our state rep, Halbrook and our senator, Chapin Rose. People, step up and shout against this. This is going on in Lithuania, segregating non vaccinated from services, restaurants, no medical care unless it’s an emergency. Don’t wait.

One of the amendment proponent witness slips shows one individual driveling representation of “Myself and other like minded science loving people,”

A decent legislative work without Gabel’s amendment.

One has to ask themselves – Who the Hell are these people? What evil has overtaken them? This is evil staring right at you in the face.

Pray for a come to Jesus moment for these sick and twisted individuals – that is what they are.

Yes, you have a right to die too. While I don’t agree with the amendment, we need something to fight a public health crisis. Natural immunity, great, but most of us don’t have it Just get vaccinated & wear a mask., please. See how nice I am about it?

Talk about hypocrisy, the head of the CPD preaches non-vaccination to the brothers while not coming clean that the previous union boss died of Covid. Turns out, only 21 refused to comply with the edict.

How about “you do what you feel you need to do to take care of you and I will do the same for me”?

The only public health crisis in this country seems to be the people who listen to the politicians. It is laughable that anyone at all is willing to take health orders from a guy that weighs more than Jabba the Hut and who thinks gyms and health food stores are “non-essential” When you can out-run, out-lift, and out-fight me (longsword, but I do other melee weapons too), then maybe I will consider listening to you on health issues.

Options given subjects of the vax mandates do not include demonstrating natural immunity. The options, weekly PCR test or vax leave subjects with no weekly test after vax. Since the vax only reduces the severity of illness and likelihood of transmission, the options the state gives to test weekly or vax are definitely not great.

I understand natural immunity can be indicated though anti-body testing. Whether everyone is wearing a mask or not, I”d rather be in a room with others that are known to have natural immunity than those who take the vax or submit to PCR test weekly. Where is the state’s absurd lack of interest in positivity for testing for antibodies and/or natural immunity? Because of the state’s lack of interest in antibody testing instead of disease testing, not much is known about the numbers of people who have developed natural immunity.

I also wonder about how robust natural immunity is among differing age groups. I suspect that natural immunity may be more robust among the youth and am therefore strictly opposed to a state requirement that youth take the vax. These include the young adults identified in Senate Bill 1169.

You can’t have natural immunity, at least specifically, to a virus that doesn’t exist, or where no evidence has been provided it exists. However, natural immunity in general can be demonstrated, for example Th1, Th2.

In Dekalb County, population 100,000+, we have seen zero deaths attributed to SARS-CoV-2 among school aged children in the last 18 months, although one infant, 1 person in 20’s, 1 person in 30’s have been reported. So why would anyone want to get a shot for a non-existent threat?

Testing for health is better than testing for disease. End of story.

I’m vaccinated. I’m not an anti-vaxxer. However, I believe part of the vax mandates and accompanying job loss mandates for not complying is the attempt to build a case for more federalization of services such as law enforcement. Obama wanted to federalize law enforcement so he wouldn’t have those pesky sheriffs and other law enforcement administrators who wouldn’t go along with his and the left’s radical ideas…stirring the pot. As other posters say, the left wants power – and they want it centralized so that they can wield it as desired. It’s only the start.

Translation: It is not a violation of the Act to … impose measures, requirements, threaten termination from employment and exclusion from school, … but you still have the right to refuse, “Nothing in this Section is intended to affect any right or remedy under federal law.”

So all this modified Act would do is eliminate the damages for discrimination, the $2500 minimum and triple monetary damages, if you don’t exercise your rights.

Not in favor of the proposed change. Natural immunity is best. No need to mandate the Covid injections. Against 1st amendment right. We need less government control.

People who didn’t work last year got unemployment benefits, SNAP, stimulus checks and free housing. Now the democrats want people who never stopped working get fired and denied all benefits.

Every congressional democrat voted against a mandate to vaccinate those storming across the border. Every single one; Robyn, how does that align with your so-called covid science

“So all this modified Act would do is eliminate the damages for discrimination, the $2500 minimum and triple monetary damages, if you don’t exercise your rights.”

Oh is that all? So, we’re down the road of medical apartheid?

This is serious business, the overarching truth here is that if it can be done for this, it can be done for anything and that is a real problem, and a dangerous precident to set.

I watched the hearing last night and could NOT BELIEVE that Rep Gabel kept repeating that they were not changing the bill….HELLO, if you weren’t “changing” the bill then what are those words on that page!!??!! Maybe you need a definition of what change means. Change: To cause to be different. When you are adding or deleting from something THAT IS CHANGE.

And – why was Rep Gabel sitting – UNMASKED – elbow to elbow with the other Representative AND inside of a county building??? Hypocrite!!

    • PK
      Posted at 20:53h, 27 October

Indeed! The two legislators were consciously laxing on masking in what I believe was a formal Statehouse committee meeting room in Sangamon County.

Masks do nothing to prevent transmission of airborne virus.
    Asymptomatic transmission does not occur.
mRNA gene treatments do not prevent illness or transmission of the virus.
mRNA gene treatments have ZERO long term studies.
there are multiple effective treatments available if your immune system needs help
your immune system is the heavy lifter in all this
    stop the nonsense
