Teutopolis School District Confined Five Students In Isolation Without Parental Notification Nor Authority –

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On September 12, 2021

Teutopolis, IL. (ECWd) –

9-13-2021: Article updated to include the newly sign law in reference to seclusion and restraint of students – bottom of the article.

Thomas DeVore was previously authorized by this child’s father to help show the world what is happening inside these schools.
.

Without so much as even contacting the parents first, the Teutopolis Unit 50 School District stuck this young man and four other children each in separate confined rooms for several hours just because these children were trying to breath freely without a mask on their face.
.
I’m told they never really checked on them or provided any sort of education. Some were even stuck in tiny closets with no windows of any sort.
.
Look at the despair on this child’s face.
.
My heart is absolutely broken for these children who are being treated like criminals.
.
What has this world become!!
Are we not better than this?
.
New rules (below) for isolating students became effective in June of 2021. Starting on page 26, Section 10-20.33 (c), of this new Bill, explains procedures for school district to isolate or restrain students. In short, isolation may only be used when a student’s behavior presents an imminent danger or serious physical harm to the student or others, when other less intrusive measures have been tried and failed, staff members have been trained in isolation techniques, etc.
.
Use of the following for isolation is prohibited: 1. a locked room, 2. a confining space such as a closet, 3. room where student cannot be continually observed, 4. where the procedure or room is contrary to current rules.

It’s just a piece of cloth on your face, right? In Afghanistan and other countries where Women are forced to cover their entire body in cloth top to toe for their safety and a belief they have no given rights. These women are being denied their right to choose to cover up or not cover up. Should they also be told to cover up, it’s just a cloth and do as you are told.

The Teutopolis School District apparently considers failure to comply with Pritzker’s mask mandate to “present an imminent danger or serious physical harm to the student or others” which is absurd.

The Teutopolis School District is so eager to obey Pritzker’s mask mandate that they are willing to draconianly isolate students in order to enforce it. This is abhorrent.

Risk is inherent in a free society. A free people assume that risk as they go about their daily lives. No more restricting our liberty under the guise of additional security.

No more mask mandates, quarantining of healthy people, lockdowns, vaccine mandates, mandatory covid testing, and other covid mandates.

Be honest. Is wearing a mask to slow a virus really that much of a restriction of your liberty? Is that restriction worth the lives of people around you?

Science put relative indoor humidity above 40% at the forefront in 2017. Yet, in 2021, “wearing a mask” has become the social science mantra of the gullible class, replete with hypothetical hogwash.

You state young man – then you call them children, which is it. Then, what is shown is a door with a window. – are you saying that the children was placed in a closet.(clothes closet, janitor closet. And, if the school rules are wear a mask you wear a mask – are you telling me that my dental hygenist, (sp) doctor, nurse even before the pandemic couldn’t breathe – I think this is just a grand standing article trying to get people riled up.
We don’t know how long this was done – a couple of minutes – hours? It’s sort of like back in the day – you have an unruly kid stick them in a corner have them go somewhere for “time out” think about what you did. There’s no indication of ages.

Here, we call those who break the law patriots fighting for freedom, as long as we do not agree with the law. Here, we call those that make laws we do not approve tyrants, as long as we did not vote for them. Here, the only laws that should be enforced are made by our people and only affect the people that do not vote like us or look like us.

We talk about the way things used to be and long for the good of days. Back before women and blacks could vote. It is a lot easier for old white men to stay in power when the only ones voting are old white men.

Now, we chose death over truth.

Regardless of the reason, it was wrong on all fronts.
Let’s get your boss to grab you out of the blue and lock you in a closet of any type for hours without any facilities, food, or water and see how fast you yell foul.
This has nothing to do with stupid masks or the CCP virus, it is about how these children were treated.

Sounds like a typical work day in a cubicle for me and millions of other office drones.

Anyway, we are all too eager to pick up the fight over exaggerated claims when we are standing by patriots demanding to go maskless.

If these kids got detention for wearing BLM shirts, we would be asking who let them out.

This is all an opportunity for political rage. Give me liberty and give me death.

America, quit sending jobs to China and you might get out of the cubicle.

Cubicle beats making minimum wage in a factory making Trump hats.

“Jannie”, in a central Illinois proud moment, shoots the messenger. Focus on what is unknown because discerning from what is known and reported on here is more difficult.

Propublica Illinois did an excellent series on Illinois’ antiquated use of restraints and seclusion in schools and Illinois subsequent effort to change the law. And the irony here is that governor JB Pritzker praised his wife for her role in getting the law changed during his first state of the state address. You’ll have to dig that video out yourself. But here’s a link to Probublica’s lead article.

      Stupid me.
