BOND CO., IL. (ECWd) –
A Bond County Circuit Judge sign a Temporary Restraining Order against Bond County Community School District #2, prohibiting them from requiring five Plaintiff students to wear a mask while on school property of in school buildings, without a lawful order of quarantine.
This TRO is effective until 4:30 p.m., October 26, 2021.
A Preliminary Injunction Hearing will be held at 9:00 a.m. on October 26, 2021, in Bond County Circuit Court.
From the Order:
“Only as to the named Plaintiffs, while they are on school property, the Defendants, are enjoined from requiring them to wear a mask for the purposes of allegedly preventing the spread of an infectious disease unless the parent or legal guardian of a student consents or there is a lawful order of quarantine having been issued against a particular student from the local health department.”
