More Proof Of Coles County State’s Attorney’s Employee Using Public Resources For Private Business –

Charleston, IL. (ECWd) –

We recently wrote about the Coles County State’s Attorney’s Office Assistant Rhonda Parker using official envelopes and postage for private lawsuit (here), and questioned why a thorough investigation was not completed.

Now we have proof that not only were official email accounts, envelopes and postage used, but official telephones were also used, and during the normal work day.

No evidence in the ISP’s investigative report indicates she was asked whether or not she used the county’s telephones for private business.

Here is an audio recording of one of the phone calls Parker made using the State’s Attorney’s Office official telephone (even announcing she is at the State’s Attorney’s office) – transcription below the audio file:

Date : Oct 21 2019 03:38:28 PM
From : 217 3480561 (12173480561)
To : mervin wolfe (18126xxxxxx)

Could it be that certain ISP Zone 5 investigators do not know to count the expense of any and all public office resources? Perhaps conducting personal business on the public dime has become culturally acceptable for ISP and other law enforcement offices.
