DuPage Township Republicans Unanimously Slated Candidates –

DuPage Township, IL. (ECWd) –

At last night’s Dupage Township Republican Caucus, candidates were slated with no opposition.

This is for the 2021 spring election.

Below are the candidates and their short bios.

2021 DuPage Township Slate

Supervisor Candidate

DuPage Township Supervisor Candidate –  DuPage Township Trustee Alyssia Benford

I have been a DuPage Township resident for twenty years and a current precinct committeewoman.  I have served as a Township Trustee for 9 years. I am a Certified Public Accountant and I have a Master’s degree in Governmental Accounting.  I am wrapping up my doctoral degree studying the Chicago Teacher Pension System. I am a member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Bolingbrook; Vice President of the Bolingbrook Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated; Past President of the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce and a former trustee for the Bolingbrook Police Pension Fund.

I currently serve as the executive director for the Will County Republican Central Committee and the treasurer of the Illinois State Party’s Black Republican Coalition.  I have four children, Ronald Jr, Randell, Riah and Rita and three grandchildren.

Trustee Candidates

DuPage Township Trustee Candidate – DuPage Township Trustee Dennis Raga

Trustee Raga has been a DuPage Township resident for fourteen years and a current precinct committeeman. He has served as Township Trustee for four years. Trustee Raga is an Operating Engineer and former Firefighter and Police Officer for the Village of Summit.  He has served as the Bolingbrook Historic Preservation Commissioner, a Fountaindale Public Library Trustee, Will County Director of Republican National Hispanic Assembly Volunteer, Supporter of the VFW 5917, HPSCAC Member, Youth Boxing Assistant with Valencia Boxing, Election / Campaign Volunteer. Trustee Raga is married to Gabriella and they have four children, Stephanie, Denise, Christopher and Ashley.

DuPage Township Trustee Candidate – Monte Larrick

Monte has been a DuPage Township resident for thirty-four years and a current precinct committeeman. He retired from Moody Broadcasting in Chicago in 2013 after more than 30 years of service, spending much of that time covering government and political leaders.  Monte is currently the media affairs director for a statewide public policy organization. He currently serves on the Bolingbrook Community Television Commission and is a member of the Speak Out Illinois Pro-Life coalition. Monte is married to Miriam and they have two daughters that graduated from Bolingbrook High School.

DuPage Township Trustee Candidate – Antonio Timothee

Antonio has been a DuPage Township Resident for twenty years and is a current precinct committeeman. He currently serves as the Secretary of the DuPage Township Building Assets and Grounds Committee. Antonio is a Restoration Construction Foreman and Project manager.  He is married to Melee and has four daughters and one grandchild.

DuPage Township Trustee Candidate – Teaquicia (Tea) Ward

Tea is a Chicagoland native and has been a DuPage Township Resident for three years after moving from Tennessee. Tea became active with the party as soon as she moved to the township and is a precinct committeewoman. She is a paralegal and an active community volunteer. She is the mother of two children, Nic and TT.

DuPage Township Assessor Candidate – Jean Kelly

Assessor Kelly has been a DuPage Township resident for twenty-nine years. Jean has had her real estate license for twenty years. She began working in the assessor’s office eight year ago and was elected as our DuPage Township Assessor in 2017. Jean prides herself in having the township assessments be fair and equitable. Jean has three children, two of them are here tonight volunteering.

DuPage Township Clerk Candidate – Deborah Williams

Deborah has been a DuPage Township Resident for sixteen years. After working for Xerox for fifteen year, Deborah decided to become an entrepreneur to pursue her love for animals. She is the owner of a dog training and grooming business.   While at Xerox she served as the secretary and treasurer of the union for ten years.

DuPage Township Collector – Enrique Luis Veguilla

Enrique has been a lifelong resident of DuPage Township Resident. He is a graduate of Romeoville High School. Enrique is self-employed and has over twenty years of customer service experience. He is an actor and producer of faith-based films and a graduate of Illinois Media School. Enrique is a single father of one and uncle of two.
