Wilmington, IL. (ECWd) –
The City of Wilmington, Illinois is holding $44,209.78 in water bill payments not yet received, some more than 120 days past due.
This puts a tremendous cramp on the water department finances for a municipality of approximately 5,700 people in Will County.
We have the by-name and by-property address list, which was provided under the Freedom of Information Act.
The largest amount owed to Wilmington for past due water bills is DDC Properties, who owes more than $15,000.
Imagine the amounts owed across the state, if this small city is owed $44k – The COVID situation has made it worse with some people being unable to pay, and rental properties unable to collect rent or evict nonpayers – which means they in turn cannot pay their own utilities.
It is a snowball rolling downhill with no end in sight, and no apparent solution available.

Posted at 04:39h, 02 OctoberDitto! The “Shutter Down” panic only responds to the emotional aspects of the illness while disregarding the consequences. of those actions.. There is no disease free society.
Chicken Little said “the sky is falling”….same as the “shutter down” crowd. This panic is causing more harm to our families, business and freedom’s than anything this generation or other generations have experienced short of a WW.
Like it or not, the definition of a biological attack fits here. Those that cannot comprehend that possibility, are those same individuals chanting shutter down without appreciation of what that really means and what the total consequences will likely be . The underlying political agenda it serves, is sobering.
Open up business, take personal responsibility, keep marching..

Posted at 20:24h, 01 OctoberOpen up the economy. Wear a mask if you feel the need. If not don’t. Masks are doing more damage. Yes there is a virus but no pandemic. Was the economy shut down during SARS no. The intent is to close small businesses and have markets moved to globalist co.panies. Why are Walmart target etc allowed to remain open. Wake up people you have been had.
