Paris, IL. (ECWd) –
Yesterday, Defendant Robert “Steve” Kemper appeared in Edgar County Courtroom #2 with his attorney, Sean Britton, for a preliminary hearing (previous article on charges HERE).
He waived the Hearing, Probable Cause was found, he plead Not Guilty and demanded a Jury Trial.
He requested a Bond Adjustment to travel to Indiana for medical purposes, it was Granted.
Pre-Trial Hearing is scheduled for November 23, 2020, at 1:45 p.m., Kemper was ordered to appear at that time.
**The public is reminded that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
