Brocton, IL. (ECWd) –
The Village of Brocton, Illinois voted to enter into a three-year intergovernmental agreement with the Brocton Fire Protection District.
The village has secured a matching grant to replace all the existing 4-inch water mains with 6-inch mains, and replace the existing flush and fire hydrants with new fire hydrants throughout the village.
Phase 1 starts next week and expected to last three months.
Phase 2 of the 2-phase plan, is expected to happen early next year.
