Pritzker bans AM 560’s Jacobson from daily press conferences, claims she isn’t “impartial”

ILLINOIS (ECWd) –

From Prairie State Wire:

Three days after she broke the news that his family was spending his statewide lockdown at an equestrian estate in Wisconsin, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker revoked longtime Chicago reporter Amy Jacobson’s access to his daily press briefing, claiming she is not an “impartial journalist.”

Pritzker’s press secretary, Jordan Abudayyeh, emailed Jacobson this afternoon to inform her of the ban.

Jacobson, who co-hosts a morning drive time talk show on AM 560 with Dan Proft, worked as a general assignment television reporter for WMAQ-TV Channel 5 (NBC) in Chicago from 1996-2007.

On Friday, Jacobson was first to report that Pritzker’s wife and children, who have spent the last seven weeks at the family’s $12 million horse farm in Florida, had moved to another family horse farm in Wisconsin, just across the Illinois border.

“Now I’m hearing that Gov. Pritzker has a 1,000 acre horse farm in Kenosha, WI,” she tweeted Friday evening. “That‘s where the family is tending to the animals tonight. You know, essential workers while the rest of us have been deemed ‘non essential.’”

Pritzker later admitted his wife and children weren’t in Illinois, but claimed they were “essential” to work on his Wisconsin farm, which he said has lifestock.

Abudayyeh criticized Jacobson for her attendance at a downtown Chicago rally of Pritzker critics on Saturday.

“This weekend you attended and spoke at a political rally to fire up the crowd in opposing the Governor’s policies to combat COVID-19,” Abudayyeh said. “An impartial journalist would not have attended that rally in that capacity and therefore you will no longer be invited to participate as an impartial journalist.”

Well, duh, she’s lucky she still has a job, for now. This is why the media wouldn’t dare report anything without the approval of these egomaniacs.

You can’t shine the light on a rat and expect a pretty picture, especially a really fat sloppy one.

This reporter should try to Verify that he and his family were seen having dinner in a lake Geneva restaurant on Saturday. It’s what we’re hearing locally. Wickersheim

I’m so sick of this fat Bastard playing God. I hope God strikes him down. He is a hypocrite and needs to be put in jail with the rest of the crooked politicians of Illinois.

Yesterday, the former governor was official disbarred! Other than the MLB Field of Dreams game going off as planned for August this year, got any better news than that?

Pope Leo X, made discomfort for Martin Luther. Putting facts and opinion to print for others to peruse can draw derogatory and unjust displays of authority, as authority compounds with anger. Pritzker’s Piety CANNOT be questioned openly in print for the Congregation to witness. For if it is, then indulgence and blessing could be determined a blemish on the Church, or Governmnet, sorry Government.

Pritzker is clearly feeling the pressure. Wednesday cannot come too soon.

Pritzker’s press conferences; only for close friends, allies and those stroking his ego. Press secretaries, same.
Well earned criticism must really hurt. If censorship is what Pritzker believes in, then China could surely make room for them.

Last month the Governor’s reply to the question of Mrs. Pritzker’s travels to Florida was in anger toward the reporter. The Governor went on to incinuate that politics have no place in state’s coronavirus response or his duty to the press. Forwarding to late last week, Ms. Abudeyyeh gave the Governor another opportunity to address the matter. While somewhat differing, the Governor’s reply at that tine was no better than last month’s reply.

    To Ms. Abudeyyah:

‘Where have all the flowers gone’

After tracking COVID-19 data very carefully over the last 6 weeks, I must say that Governor Pritzker is only trying to protect the (perhaps ungrateful & unwise) sheep of Illinois. As a recently unemployed Illinoisan, I understand first-hand the desire to get back to work and earn a living to support my family . . . but IF I get sick with Coronavirus (10-15% chance of this) and suffer long in the hospital ($$$) or die (death has occurred in 4.4% of Illinoisans who have contracted COVID-19 so far), THEN who will support me & my family? I understand to wanting to get back to the type of Iife & freedoms I knew for the last 5 decades. Unlike our unwise Trump/Pense duo who don’t believe in wearing masks . . . Pritzker respects the danger that COVID-19 virus poses to human health & lives and is truly looking out for our best interest(s), even though we don’t like being restricted. We should thank/respect Pritzker & Lightfoot . . . and hopefully DUMP TRUMP.
