Pennsylvania (ECWd) –

Democrat House Member Brian Sims posted a scathing video yesterday, where he alleges that at least one Republican House member had tested positive for COVID-19, had been in close contact with other House members, and had not informed them of his positive test.

Sims states in the video that for at least a week, the Republican Leadership had known of this positive test, and that at least one member was self quarantining, but never let the House Democrats know of it.

Sims alleges the House Dems only found out after a reporter asked them a question about it.

Republican State Rep. Andrew Lewis released a statement Wednesday revealing he received his positive test result on May 20

According to the Washington Post (here) “Lewis, who has not been in the House since May 14, said he immediately went into isolation after testing positive and informed House officials about his condition. He stressed “every member or staff member who met the criteria for exposure” was contacted and told to isolate. One of Lewis’s GOP colleagues confirmed on social media Wednesday that he had been asked to self-quarantine, but Democrats said they are aware of at least two other Republicans who were also instructed to stay home.”
