Gov. Pritzker removes restrictions on Churches on eve of responding to the U.S. Supreme Court –

Illinois (ECWd) –

Governor Pritzker, during today’s Daily Briefing, announced new guidance for religious institutions in Illinois.

These “guidelines” effectively remove any previous mandates he thought he had placed on them, and replaced the mandates with “guidance.”

This move was hours prior to his response deadline to the United States Supreme Court in the case of Elim Romanian Pentecostal Church and Logos Baptist Ministries v. Jay R. Pritzker, which was seeking an emergency injunction prior to May 31, 2020. Read the Emergency Application for Writ of Injunction to the SCOTUS (here).

The IDPH has published new recommendations for religious institutions on its website (or download it here).

Gov Pritzker did say the Illinois Attorney General will file a response to the case on time.

got to stop Gov has gone to far last night the office of economic development put out a memo banning auto race tracks from opening in phase 3 after the owners statewide agree to comply with phase 3 standards. the tracks will of course lose money now and the participants will do to other states that are open. unreal Gov has taken this all to far.

Gov. Finster is nothing more than dust before ALMIGHTY GOD. “And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (The Church)”.

If the IL Attorney general is involved, then that would be a resounding yes. So, he is now going to claim that all the personal attacks in court now require the tax increase he proposed so essential services such as Fire, Police, and School funding don’t get cut because he had to fight his unconstitutional mandates in the courts.

Are the IL taxpayers flipping JB’s legal bills in matters such as this as well as against Bailey? My hunch is yes
