Will Co. (ECWd) –
Even with her bogus presentation worthy of an Oscar at the last Township meeting, Dupage Township Trustee Maripat Oliver once again will have to rethink her next misinformation campaign as her last one failed miserably. Read the prequel to this episode at this link.
Oliver took it upon herself to insinuate that the information, specifically an affidavit we published in the prior article, was not real and questioned our reporting that it was is in the possession of the authorities. We followed her suggestion and submitted an FOIA to the Bolingbrook Police Department.
The results were just as predicted. We obtained the very affidavit we wrote about and they invoked numerous exemptions to include the very ones we said they would.
What Oliver should realize is our reporting has never been false nor do we fabricate documents that further raise questions of actions by former Supervisor Bill Mayer.
We urge Oliver to issue a formal apology to the Board and the public for her charade of unfounded insinuations which once again have been proven wrong. Once she is done with the apology she should provide her written resignation from the Board because it is clearer than ever she has no clue what the true function of a Township Trustee is.
You can view a copy of the FOIA, the cities response, and a copy of the Affidavit provided by downloading it at this link or view below. We note that the affidavit in the response is redacted more than the one we published.
