Edgar County’s Motion to Dismiss ECSSAA lawsuit DENIED –

PARIS, IL. (ECWd) –

On December 23, 2019, Edgar County Special Service Area Ambulance v. Edgar County was heard in Circuit Court.

The Court (Judge Shick) DENIED Edgar County’s Motion to Dismiss and ordered the county to answer or otherwise plead within 30 days.

Edgar County was also ordered to respond to the Request to Admit within 30 days.

This suit was filed earlier this year and alleges that Edgar County failed to pay the ECSSAA for its last year of the contracted service agreement.
