Will Co. (ECWd) –
The first video below is of the public comment portion of the August 13, 2019, Wesley Township Board of Trustees meeting.
Below that is the Board’s vote to permit camping, and include electricity and water for a trial period of 30 days.
Interesting is that in the days following, at least one board member set out to sabotage the camping by repeatedly shutting off the electric and water and padlocking the electricity.
This happened several times in the two weeks following this vote.
Another board member, after receipt of a complaint that the electricity was not up to code, had an electric company inspect and repair the circuits within the park so they conformed with current code requirements.
It currently appears that electricity and water are on at the park and campground.
Prior to this meeting, John Norton was told by a Police Officer to move his vehicle from the handicap parking spot it was encroaching upon.
