Coles County Probation Officer resigns after racists comments -

BY JOHN KRAFT & KIRK ALLEN

ON June 4, 2019

Charleston, IL. (ECWd) -

This is a follow-up on our article referencing Coles County Probation Officer Megan R. Weaver and her alleged racists comments during an off-duty fight in Sullivan, Illinois on April 26, 2019 (read it here).

The JG-TC is reporting that she has tendered her resignation after a report by County Court Services Director Pam Kelly stated that Weaver's "conduct and language are completely inappropriate and unbecoming of a probation officer or any professional"
