Niantic, IL. (ECWd) –
Doug Wolfe, I TEAM reporter at WAND-TV, received tips about a police car frequenting places in Decatur, Illinois.
The car was not marked with anything indicating where it was from, but did have police lights and municipal license plates.
Our government vehicle license plate database, GovPlates.com, was used to identify the Village of Niantic as the owner of the police car.

Posted at 09:46h, 10 Mayif the sheriff handles the calls, why do they need a police chief. what does he do even when there? I have never seen a police car with a light bar and no other marking on it
