Clark Co. man charged with Child Pornography, Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse

MARSHALL, IL. (ECWd) –

Charges against Ronald Wells were amended last week to include the following:

• Criminal Sexual Assault/Family Member under 18 – Class 1 Felony
• Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse/Family Member under 18 – Class 2 Felony
• Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault/Family Member under 18 – Class 2 Felony
• Possession of Child Pornography, moving DPTN – Class 2 Felony
• Possession of Child Pornography, moving DPTN – Class 2 Felony
• Possession of Child Pornography, moving DPTN – Class 2 Felony
• Possession of Child Pornography, moving DPTN – Class 2 Felony

Wells was previously charged with the aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges and arrested on February 9, 2018. The additional charges are four counts of child pornography.

Pretrial is scheduled for September 5th at 9:00 a.m. with the trial scheduled for September 11, 2018. It is unknown at this time if the additional charges will delay the trial.
