    Yay. Yes, please run for elected office and vote the taxpayer dollars abusers out of office. And Illinois needs a robust coalition of not those who will restore fiscal sanity, but curb the federal abuse of civil liberties at the state and local levels. These secretive fusion centers and JTTF task forces have been abusing police powers for quite some time. Our state and local police should never be used as tools of federal overreach and abuse (we have enough problems with local police corruption and abuse of power without having them teaming up with the feds on task forces to harass and intimidate peaceful political activists who are trying to do something about this problem).

    Civil libertarians, fiscally sane folks, ladies (we need more ladies in charge, that is for sure), please RUN for office.

    Moody’s upgraded Illinois to stable. It’s not totally hopeless. RUN, people!
