BLOOMINGTON-NORMAL, IL. (ECWd) –

Judith (Judy) Valente (read previous article here) left a message on the ISU Police Chief’s answering machine demanding to know why the dash cam video of her traffic stop, in which she berated and belittled police officers, was release to media without her express permission.

Yes folks, a reporter thinks video of her traffic stop is special, and that she should have had to give permission for the Police Department to release it.

She also complains to the Chief that someone sent an email to her that criticized her, and someone else sent an email to WGLT trying to get her fired.

Judy, here is the answer to what you seek: “The FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT.” You do not get to decide who can look at that video, and you do not get to decide if it gets released to the public or not. The Police Chief doesn’t even get to decide those things, how could you possibly think you could decide them?

If you think the video or this audio was bad, wait until we publish her emails with the Chief while name-dropping her husband, the Judge’s, name.

Judy, Judy, Tax Payer Funded Judy. I must know did she use her ISU EMAIL for a personnel issue? I only ask because that is a violation of the Illinois Ethics Act.

A video of the incident makes it difficult to practice active denial. Elitists think they are above the law and better than everyone else
