DuPage Co. (ECWd) –
With close to two years of criminal investigations, multiple terminations and basically a complete overhaul of the Board of Trustees and Administration from the Breuder era, the Higher Learning Commission has lifted the probation they placed on COD in December of 2015.
“The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) has removed the sanction of Probation for College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.”
“HLC took this action based on the College’s ability to demonstrate that it meets HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.”
“It was placed on Probation in December 2015 for concerns related to integrity and governance issues.”
It was no small task for the Board of Trustees, Chaired by Deanne Mazzochi, along with a new President and her administration and faculty to accomplished so much in such short order. Although there is still a lot of matters to work their way through the legal system we are confident the future path of COD is much brighter than it was when Dr. Breuder was at the helm.
Congratulations to COD for repairing the damage done by the past Administration and Board.
