Kansas Police Department Hired Part Time Officer

KANSAS, IL. (ECWd) –

The Village of Kansas, Illinois Police Department has hired a new part-time police officer.

His name is Ed Motley and he comes with a little experience:

• 2 years in the United States Army – deployed to Vietnam
• 25 year of corrections experience culminating in Warden (Retired) United States Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons – which also included 2 years as Deputy Commissioner of Indiana Department of Correction
• 4 years as Edgar County Sherriff
• 12 years teaching criminal justice
