LaSalle County, IL. (ECWd) –
A Special Prosecutor from the Illinois Office of the State’s Attorney Appellate Prosecutor’s Office was indicted on 17 felony counts yesterday in LaSalle County, Illinois – which arose out of his duties as State’s Attorney. Download docket sheet (here), or view below.
Brian Towne was hired by the ILSAAP within days of being defeated in his bid for reelection as State’s Attorney in LaSalle County.
Since working for the ILSAAP:
- The Illinois Supreme Court upheld an Appellate Court ruling against his illegal police force, entitled “SAFE” or State’s Attorney Felony Enforcement Unit
- He has been indicted by a LaSalle County Grand Jury on 17 felony counts arising out of his performance as the LaSalle County State’s Attorney. Any felony convictions could seize his retirement benefits from that employment.
As of publication of this article he is still listed as a special prosecutor on ILS AAP’s web page, however, in a telephonic interview this morning, ILSAAP Director Patrick Delfino stated they had not received a copy of the indictment yet, but did place Brian Towne on administrative duties as of 8:00 a.m. this morning.
As a reminder, Towne is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law – the same goes for any other defendant.

Posted at 10:40h, 12 Septembernothing will change until we, the taxpayer refuse to pay taxes which continue to pay the gub criminals. Private sector response is firing and no unemployment. Why are the gub special? We give them the power to rule us and then they do this to us. Rebellion is in the air. The people against the gub, historically, repeats itself over and over.

Posted at 10:19h, 06 September” Towne will not be arrested, but will be sent a list of charges he must defend, and a court date.”
Another instance of special treatment for “special people.” At some point will Towne be fingerprinted and photographed? Fingerprints sent to ISP and FBI? The answers to those questions will indicate just how “special” Towne is.

Posted at 10:10h, 06 SeptemberThe thing which caught my eye here is that this person is currently a special prosecutor for the Illinois State’s Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor’s office. I have done extensive research on ILSAAP and uncovered numerous public records showing corruption there – specifically within its top Administration, its Board of Governors and its special prosecution unit. This information has been on my blog for years, yet nothing has ever been done. It should give one pause that this person who was just indicted also served on the IILSAAP Board of Governors and is now a special prosecutor there.
