Americans for Prosperity Foundation-Illinois is hosting a Citizen Watchdog Training to teach YOU how to hold elected officials accountable.
Over the past several years, the efforts of two veterans from rural Edgar County have caused the resignation or removal of more than 200 elected officials and bureaucrats. The Edgar County Watchdogs want to help you become a watchdog in your community.
Our Citizen Watchdog Training will teach you how to use publicly available information and Open Meetings and Freedom of Information laws to investigate your own concerns about tax dollars not being used efficiently.
