AG asks Carlinville why they failed to answer a March 20th FOIA request –

CARLINVILLE, IL. (ECWd) –

The Illinois Attorney General’s Public Access Counselor has sent a letter the Carlinville City Clerk, Mrs. Carla Brockmeier, asking that the city respond to the March 20, 2017, Freedom Of Information Act request for public records.

Carlinville has developed a history of not properly answering these requests for public records.

The law required they respond within 5 working days after receipt, and they failed.
