Video Report from Auburn Township in Clark County –

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On September 16, 2016

CLARK CENTER, IL. (ECWd) –

ECWd was “invited” (message on our tip line) by some local residents to attend their Township Board meeting.

They were concerned that the township was about to gift real estate to a local business after it was discovered the local business had built a building, where part of the building was actually located on township property.

Some residents wanted to at least have the township get paid for its real estate instead of simply giving it away.

When we arrived, we discovered there was no meeting agenda posted on the church where the meeting was held. Which meant the meeting could not be conducted, since it would have violated state law.

We recorded a video report on this issue, along with the reaction of a resident.

the residents now have more time to mount a defense and convince their township board to seek proper payment for the real estate in question.

Fair warning: foul language involved (not from us), so keep that in mind when watching this video:

Who is the pint sized rage-a-holic? It’s great that he is giving examples of conflict resolution to the minor children that were present.

The residents need to find a good lawyer quickly.

Same guy has a history of this type of “accidentally” building on public property – then blaming the surveyor. Wonder if that surveyor is our buddy from Paris?
