Clark Co. Park District Director not entirely truthful on Statement of Economic Interest –

CLARK CO., IL. (ECWd) –

The Director of the Clark County Park District, who, according to district policy must reside within the boundaries of the district, recently filed her Statement of Economic Interest for 2016.

Charity Murphy, once again, was not truthful on the SEI when it came to reporting her address.

She listed 11298 E. Clarkesville Road, Marshall, IL. as her address (same as last year’s SEI) – knowing it was not, and here is how she knew it was not. She had previously use Commissioner Joe Ewing’s address on other official state records (here) – and the park district attorney has recently sent letters to her real address in West Terre Haute, Indiana.

• She does not live there (11298 E. Clarkesville Road)
• The house is listed for sale (here)
• Realtors have told me the house is currently empty and no one lives there (when I asked how much advanced notice they needed to view the house)
