KENDALL, CO., IL. (ECWd) –
The Former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, John Dennis Hastert, has been sued in Kendall County Circuit Court for alleged Breach of Contract.
According to the complaint, the contract in question was a verbal contract for $3.5 million in compensation for sex abuse the Plaintiff alleged occurred while Hastert was still a coach at Yorkville High School and the victim was then 14 years old.
Plaintiff alleges Hastert has paid $1.7 million of the $3.5 million agreed upon compensation, which was the subject of a Federal investigation due to large cash withdrawals.
The Complaint alleges damages in the amount of $1.8 million, plus interest, for the remaining balance of the unpaid total agreed upon.
The next court date is tentatively scheduled for July 25, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., in Room 112, with Honorable Stephen L. Kretz presiding.

Posted at 08:43h, 26 AprilAbsofreakinglutely Ted. How does a school teacher and congressman accumulate wealth like it appears Hastert has? What a corrupt prick like most of them. These politicians need term limited. Being an elected politician should not be a career, hence no pension.

Posted at 08:02h, 26 AprilThere is a road running east to west through Bolingbrook to Naperville named after the former speaker Hastert. This ought to be returned back to 111 th street as soon as possible. I wonder if the Plaintiff has paid taxes on the money received.
I believe Hastert has been punished having this open to the public hurting his family and friends who supported him all these years.
It’s a disgrace of what he has been charged with.
The damage he has caused to the ones he took advantage of doesn’t have a price tag.
Chances are he will never serve a day in prison.
That’s unfortunate!

Posted at 02:36h, 26 AprilThis is not defending Hastert in any way, but isn’t extortion (verbal “contract”) against the law? So he’s suing for the balance of extorted money plus interest…that’s rich.
