College of DuPage (ECWd) –
During the April 7, 2016 College of DuPage Board of Trustees meeting, Trustee McGuire spent a considerable amount of time on legal bills again.
This time, it was questioning on the lines of “who authorized this” and “who hired them” – forgetting that it was the previous board under Chairman Erin Birt who hired, at least, one of those law firms McGuire questioned.
McGuire and the previous board had placed the firm in question in the IMPRESS payments at least as far back as March of 2015, with McGuire arguing against further transparency on IMPRESS payments in October of 2014.
It was obvious the “theme” of the night for those trustees who boycotted meetings in Dec, Jan, and Feb was to insinuate that firms were hired, or otherwise directed to do work, during the months when no meetings took place – which is false.

Posted at 09:54h, 10 AprilI think it’s time Trustee McGuire step down. Please take Ms Bert with you. The more you talk the more convinced the college could do without you both. You both ought to just quit the games
you are playing and realize the gravy train has left the station without you.

Posted at 08:41h, 10 AprilRepresentative officials-when there is something so obviously wrong with one, whether a dementia, a paralyzing obstructionist, a criminality or a form of mental illness, the continuation of their representative position is an exponential continuous harm to the College of DuPage.
