Lincoln Way School District 210 – What a REAL board member is –

By Kirk Allen & John Kraft

On January 19, 2016

Will Co. (ECWd) –

We covered the resignation of a Board Member from the LWD210 School Board in this article.  I speculated that he may have resigned because we believed the recent exposure of what many consider illegal expenditures.

Based on documents that we will expose as a follow up article to this one, you can rest assured this board member not only knows what he is doing but is a perfect example of what every board member on any public body should be doing! Sadly, because of his position as a Federal Prosecutor, what he was seeing clearly forced him to resign.

I assure the citizens of D210, this board member is an example of what you are looking for in a board member!

I urge you to watch this entire video and listen closely to what is being asked, and the answers.  Documents we have in hand will prove this auditor has a serious problem on the horizon and it is clear this Asst. US Attorney saw it and now has their answer on the record.

Pay particular attention to the question at the 1:00 minute mark of the video and the response up through the 2 minute mark.  The admission is mind blowing and tells us why this state’s education system is in the mess it is in!

I also believe this information and additional exposure of evidence we obtained today will prove the citizen’s fighting this corruption have been, and will be, vindicated.

My compliments to Mr. McFadden!  Illinois needs more board members just like you!

Why would he resign when he appears to be the only voice of reason on this board?

As a prosecutor he can not be a party to a board that is breaking the law.

Absolutely nothing but respect for Chris McFadden – I can’t blame him for resigning from this circus act of a Board. The past 210 boards were rubber stamps to whatever the previous Superintendent wanted, and now this board is proving to have that same relationship with the current administration. I don’t think they know what oversight means. No wonder they’ve blown through all the cash reserves and have things like a Dog Training School and Daycare Centers, vacant land and vacant residential lots, while we are asked to pay a mortgage on a closed school building for the next 20ish years. I think as soon as McFadden started to realize what kind of shady things were going on behind the curtain, he began to distance himself from them and try to suggest remedies, but he was outnumbered and overpowered. I hope that Mr. McFadden takes some time for himself, but if he ever runs for a Will County position again, he will surely have my vote!

    Unbelievable….
A 20 year relationship with the same audit firm who claims at 3 year intervals they rotate the auditor so a new set of eyes looks at a 1- 5 percent sample of transactions to create a 100 page non-standard annual audit report summary, for a board majority that likely does not understand it but approves it anyway.

The video is like a tragic comedy when you learn this accounting / audit firm has 30 other school districts they audit which I can only assume are approved by their respective boards.

    Mr. McFadden,
Sir you have my respect and admiration and I wish you well in your future endeavors!
