Appellate Court Oral Arguments rescheduled for John Kraft v. Arcola Twp. –

ARCOLA TOWNSHIP, IL. (ECWd) –

Edited to correct date…

The Appellate Court Fourth Judicial District has rescheduled John Kraft v. Arcola Township on its calendar for Oral Argument on March 9, 2016, at 10:oo a.m. in Springfield, IL.

These are the cases coming out of Douglas County Circuit Court and appealed by John Kraft.

They are Illinois Freedom Of Information Act cases.

    You may not want to show up to court on the 6th. By my calendar that is a Sunday. I am optimistic that you will prevail. Hold their feet to the fire.

      I agree obviously. I suspect some municipal employees are drug addicts by the way they act in public and private. Why not test ALL city, county and state employees, including politicians? It may help citizens regain public trust in our public servants, especially our public servants. It’s not fair that most employees are currently drug tested or subject to be randomly drug tested in our society. Why not our public servants? Seems fair to most everyone involved obviously.     At last John Kraft gets his day in court.I wonder if Mark Petty remembers saying”as long as I’m here the information at the Township will not be released”.The Appellate Court will have something to say about that Mr. Petty.
