College of DuPage (ECWd) –
On April 29, 2015, the Physical Therapist Assistant Educator Program at the College of DuPage was placed on “Probationary Accreditation” due to COD’s “inability to demonstrate compliance with a significant number of evaluative criteria“.

According to the letter from the Commission On Accreditation In Physical Therapy Education, “CAPTE”, this program has been out of compliance with several criteria since a de novo review 18 months ago (since around October of 2013), which included faculty qualification requirements out of compliance.
COD responded to CAPTE on June 10, 2015. This response satisfied some, but not all, of the Commission’s concerns.
Again, on November 11, 2015, CAPTE took action to continue the Probationary Accreditation with an expected next comprehensive visit in the Spring of 2023 (8 years), listing a Compliance Report as the next activity to be completed.
