Republican Congressional Staffer colluding with Naperville Democrat – Part II…

By Kirk Allen & John Kraft

On November 3, 2015

DuPage Co. (ECWd) –

What will Congressman Hultgren do?

After being unable to get any response from the Congressman’s office, as well as from those orchestrating attempts to discredit College of DuPage Board Chairman Kathy Hamilton, it is time to share the evidence.
July 31st, 2015, Republican Cory Atkinson sends an email to Democrat Diane McGuire and Republican Erin Birt with a CC to Congressional Staffer Dave Carlin.  It should be noted both Atkinson and Carlin are former COD trustees.  Carlin lost all attempts of getting re-elected to the board, Atkinson failed in other election attempts.  Regardless, it is clear they are continuing to function behind the scenes in an effort to disrupt reform at COD.
The body of the e-mail is a suggestion from Dave Carlin.

“A good response would be to hold up the Daily Herald where Hamilton is quoted saying the Tribs exposes were political and saying ………cleaning up the crisis created by Hamilton for political purpose?

(Click here for a copy of the e-mail shared by Atkinson to McGuire, Birt and Carlin)

Keeping Carlin’s suggestion in mind, watch how COD Trustee McGuire followed that suggestion during the October 8th, 2015 COD meeting.  The whole clip is noteworthy as it relates to McGuire’s ignorance on matters, but pay particular attention to the comments starting at 2:10 mark of the video where she picks up her “laminated” Daily Herald article that she quotes the very suggestions from Dave Carlin.

Why are the Edgar County Watchdogs concerned about a Republican sending a Republican and a Democrat, and CCing a Republican, an email about a non Partisan Governmental Body? Is the CC’d Republican not entitled to his Constitutional right of Freedom of Speech? Did the CC’d Republican lose his rights because he works for a Politician? So if you work for a Politician in anyway, you are forbidden by LAW to giving your opinion?

Burt, can you point to one place we said working for a politician in anyway would be forbidden by law to giving an opinion? If you dont know the history may I suggest you go back and see the involvement and illegal acts that took place while the political staffer was in charge at COD. They are colluding with a TOP Democrat and even though the trustee seats are non partisan, the one using the talking points in meetings is getting them from a republican who is doing nothing but trying to tear down the reforms all while the one claiming the other side is entirely political, she brings it front and center. Don’t try the straw man argument of people losing their constitution right of freedom of speech because no one even remotely eluded to that. Nor does anyone lose their rights because who they work for.
However I think a US Congressman that is running for re-election would have serious concern if he knew his staffer was helping a top local democrat. If you think otherwise then so be it.

McGuire will do anything these idiots tell her to do. Never mind that she continues to humiliate herself in the process.
